How to "Design in Dichroic"

“Design in Dichroic”™ by Sundown Creations Studio allows you to design your own custom glass bracelet online!

Your Creative Contribution

Customize your wearable art glass using any combination and arrangement of the ½” Dichroic Glass square gems (links to color samples of glass gems) handcrafted in my studio. All you have to do is “drag and drop” your selections onto the bracelet blank, in the bracelet length desired, on the screen.

“Design in Dichroic”™ glass bracelets are crafted with either Sterling Silver or Gold-Plated links, available in lengths of 7”, 7 ½”, or 8”. (Most women prefer a 7 ½” bracelet. If in doubt use a seamstress tape to measure the wrist, allowing a little “play” to ensure that the clasp is not stressed and the bracelet hangs comfortably when worn. It is better to order a little large than too small, as links can be easily removed.)

Take your time with your design and have fun! The possibilities are almost endless and the instructions are easy to follow.

What Happens in the Studio

When your Dichroic Glass bracelet is exactly as you envisioned, simply click “Order Now,” check out using the secure shopping cart, and your custom bracelet will be handcrafted and sent to you or your loved one … just as you designed!

Your choices in Dichroic Glass are fused at 1500˚ Fahrenheit on glass “blanks” resulting in a 1/8” thick “gem” of art glass. Each edge is ground to a smooth finish then fire polished in the kiln to complete the process. The Dichroic Glass gems are then secured to the bracelet blank per your design specifications.

Giving the bracelet as a gift?
Each “Design in Dichroic”™ bracelet will include a gift card specifying “Designed especially for you by _______” so the recipient can appreciate your creative contribution.
